PHAST – “Pharmacy Audit System” is a multi-tier application utilizing programs such as PowerBuilder, Oracle, WebFOCUS, GenLogon, NSOG and COBOL Servers. Client workstations are used by Pharmacy Liaison Officers (PLO).
- Took over as Lead programmer after the transfer from Greenshield.
- Helped to develop the WebFOCUS 5.3 Development environment.
- Updated Design Documentation.
- Created Install Package using InstallShield which will be used to install the PHAST application on new PLO Work stations.
PARR - “Professional Allowance Reporting and Reconciliation” is a report generated on a Monthly basis that is used by Drug manufacturers to inform them on their payment allowance to Pharmacies.
- Lead programmer for the PARR project.
- Created programs for PARR which were implemented into production.
- Completed system testing for desired outcome.
- Fixed problem logs when there was an issue during the testing phase.
- Wrote Run Documents and updated Technical Specification and Design Documentation.
EDADH\DPV - “Emergency Department Access to Drug History\Drug Profile Viewer” are several different reports used by Hospitals to determine when a Patients Drug History has been accessed.
- Programmer for the EDADH\DPV systems project.
- Modified and created programs for EDADH\DPV which were implemented into production.
- Completed system testing for desired outcome.
- Wrote Run Documents and updated Design and Architectural Documentation.
- User administration for access to the Oracle Report Library where all production reports are stored.
Focus Transition – Involved in the transition for over 40 applications from a 3rd party vendor Focus Code to the Health Service Cluster WebFOCUS code.
- Attended Knowledge Transfer given by the 3rd party vendor
- Provided Mentoring to the St. Lawrence College Student on the WebFOCUS software.

eFormulary – The eFormulary is a JAVA Servlet, hosted on Websphere, used to query an Oracle database and send the results back to the a public facing Web Server. The XML sent by Emergis to the Health Network Sysytems Drug team is used to create a PDF that is reviewed by the client and once approved; the XML is then uploaded to the Oracle database.
- Updated Architecture Documentation to reflect current design.
- Coded a program to make this task an automated process.
Canadian Revenue Agency Batch Exception Reports – Manually ran CRA batch jobs to create and FTP Exception reports to Resolve in order for them to correct entries in the TTS/TAM System.
- Helped to develop the WebFOCUS 5.3 Development environment in order to make changes to the current code.
- Solved production errors when reports did not complete because of bad data entered.
- Contacted Emergis DBA’s in order to create an SQL fix for as a solution to the production error.
